Marketing and Communications Specialist, Social Science Division

Colette provides strategic and tactical marketing and communications support for the Social Sciences division, working closely with faculty, unit staff, and Advancement colleagues. She can advise on broad-based communications efforts including social media, newsletters, event invitations and publicity, web content, photography, and videography.

Prior to the UW, Colette served as the Executive Director of the Domestic Fair Trade Association—a national organization dedicated to promoting health, justice, and sustainability in the food system. She has also served as a communications consultant for YES! Magazine, Seattle Good Business Network, Seattle Parks Foundation, Cascadia Climate Collaborative, and Cultivate Impact.

She holds a Masters degree in Communication in Digital Media from the University of Washington and a B.A. in Spanish and Peace and Conflict Studies from Guilford College.
