Max provides strategic and tactical marketing and communications support for the 16 academic units in the Arts and Humanities divisions, working closely with faculty, unit staff, and Advancement colleagues. He can advise on broad-based communications efforts including social media, newsletters, event invitations and publicity, and web content.
Prior to his role in the College of Arts & Sciences, Max was Communications & Media Editor at the UW's Alumni & Consituent Relations department. In the past, he has worked as copywriter and editor in various ad agency and brand settings.
Max holds a B.A. in History from George Washington University in D.C., with a focus in American History. Outside of the office, Max can be found playing the drums, reading, tending to his garden, and playing with his dog, Sprocket.
